Since we began in 1999 Dorie Miller American Legion Post 213 has welcomed VETERANS and their Families from all branches of the Armed Forces. Today, we continue to embrace and celebrate our partnership with Veterans and their communities. As Post 213 moves forward in our efforts to salute our country's Veterans, we are proudly inspired through our faith in serving God, Country, and Community. Our mission seeks to embody the goals, aspirations, dreams, peace, and blessings for our country, friends, and families as shared by our preamble mentioned below.

Post 213 salutes the outstanding patriotic citizens of BROOKLYN for your ongoing support. Membership is available to join Post 213 as a Veteran, Auxiliary member, Booster, or Sponsor; all are welcomed. Your participation is vital to continue sponsoring Scholarships- for our children, providing needed assistance to Veterans and their families, and helping with supporting financially worthy community programs and projects.
