The SD1 Dorie Miller Multicultural Post 213 American Legion Auxiliary is a civilian organization of women.  Membership in the American Legion Auxiliary includes, mothers, wives, daughters, sisters, granddaughters, great-granddaughters of members of the American Legion. We exist to assist other women who have had ties to the military community.  We are also an outreach organization. We pride ourselves in creating activities for families. We create atmospheres for healthy family interaction within the community and among our fellow military personal.
 
We meet once a month. In order to be recognized as an functional auxiliary we must have these officers: President,  a First Vice President, Second Vice President, a Secretary and a Treasurer. The duties are as follows:  The President presides at all meetings; she  exercises a general supervision over the welfare and interest of the unit. The Vice Presidents are  to act as president in her absence; they are also to help in the membership recruitment. The Secretary duty is to record all proceedings of the unit; she receives all official mail of the unit. The Secretary keeps all books of the Unit. The Secretary  sends out proper notices of all meetings. All these officers must work closely to the President.  Dorie Miller Multicultural  Women Auxiliary are as follows:

We are still seeking for others to fill other positions in the organization. I am strongly asking all members to actively involve family members to become of this organization.  There are many benefits to gain from making this organization one of your priorities.
